I’m a former Canadian journalist living and running a tourism business in Italy. I’ve blogged extensively about myself and the business and you can find all that here. This space will feature various scribblings on a wide range things unrelated to my business. I hope you like them.

My background is simple. I spent my early years with my family on a farm in a small community south of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I moved to Ottawa when I was 12 and pretty much stayed there until I moved to Italy in 2015. I’m 57 and married to a wonderful lady. We don’t have children. We live in a little farm house outside of the town of Torre de’Passeri in the Abruzzo region of Italy with three dogs and a cat.
